Well, Ethan continues to grow (amazing how little babies do that) and as he is now 6 months old, we took the plunge, bought a little puree machine and have entered into the world of "baby food". First up - SWEET POTATOES!! We weren't sure how it was going to go (I was imagining food all over the kitchen, in Ethan's hair, in MY hair, etc.) but it went surprisingly well...as you can see from the below. I mean, why did I ever doubt him with Dean as his daddy? :)

Ethan's First Ocean Experience
As I promised in an older post, here is Ethan's first experience in the ocean...needless to say, it didn't go as well as his first experience in the pool (which, he LOVED!) Enjoy!
Fun times in Jacksonville!!
Last week we had the fun opportunity to go down to Jacksonville, FL to visit with Dean's brother, Brian, and his wife Ashley, as well as Ashley's wonderful family. It was a fantastic week full of lots of great memories, relaxation and "firsts" for Ethan. Ethan had his first experience in the ocean (we are going to try and load a video of THAT experience - HA!), first time in a pool as well as the first time that he has held a bottle by himself...(hey, it's the little things...). We hope you enjoy these great shots of little man, enjoying these new found past times!!!
Ethan's first time in the pool, realizing that this is a lot better than that pesky ocean...
Decked out in his "Muscle Man" swim shirt, little speedo swimmers, humungous hat and the all important pacifier, Ethan was ready to chill with daddy...what a handsome duo.
Sitting with daddy on the beach, feeling the sand in his toes and looking at those scary waves...he was NOT a fan of the ocean....
Too cute...

I am SO funny!
Here is a short video of Ethan from a few weeks ago. He is looking at a mirror that is hanging above him and laughing at his reflection...he kept laughing for about 5 minutes - it was great. Enjoy!!
Random shots
Alrighty, so we are quickly approaching Ethan's six month birthday (which is CRAZY!) so we will have lots of pictures from that day, but since it has been a while, we thought we should put a few more out here on the blog. Below is little Ethan, not sure what to think of this brown thing next to him...
Forget the bear, it's time to smile!
Dean had to get dressed up for Fifth Grade Honor's Night, so it was a perfect time for a picture...Ethan always has the same expression when he sees the camera and the pretty light that blinks on it...."Ooooooooohhhhhhhhh"...what handsome fellas they are!!
