Well, we can hardly believe that Ethan is now 7 weeks old (as of Friday). He is starting to smile a lot and is focusing more on our faces and objects that hang above his crib...which is great, except for when he is supposed to be napping but is instead engrossed in the flying monkey and giraffe on his mobile... but below are some pictures of Ethan, taken this past week...He continues to be such a joy and we continue to be completely amazed and thankful for the Lord blessing us with him. Here, I am giving Ethan a bath and Mango, our orange MaineCoone decided to survey the damage... I think Mango really wanted to jump in at one point but the small child in the water was making him have second thoughts about the endeavor...needless to say, he decided against it...

Happy One Month Birthday Ethan!!!

What a fun day!! To our delight, we had seven inches of snow outside our home when we woke up this morning, which meant that all schools were closed and Dean got to spend the day with Ethan and I. And it was a special day, since it marks Ethan's one month birthday! WHA-HOOOO!!! Ethan was so incredibly excited about it - he told me himself. And to mark this special day, he started making a new "cooing" noise which is, of course, super cute. I am amazed at how much he has already changed and how he has already out grown some things (like being able to curl up on me...he is getting so long that he has to lay across me with his legs hanging to the side instead of all curled up in a ball). He is truly a wonderful little baby, very happy and only fusses when there is a reason...seriously, a really great little guy. Here are his one month old portraits - ENJOY!
